The new chief operating officer at an IT firm has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.
Grandville-based Trivalent Group said yesterday that it has promoted John Hey to the role.
Hey most recently served as the firm’s chief services officer. He has spent his entire career at Trivalent Group.
Hey worked his way up from from engineer to technical services manager, VP of professional services and SVP, before being named chief services officer in 2011.
He graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1992.
“The promotion of John Hey is in recognition of his significant contributions to our growth and success and positions us for greater opportunities in the future,” said Larry Andrus, CEO, Trivalent Group.
Andrus added that as COO, Hey “continues along the path of ever-increasing responsibility he has achieved since joining us as Trivalent’s first LAN network engineer.”
Trivalent Group operates additional offices in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Mt. Pleasant.
