The emergence of Trivalent Group is a story of bringing the best together. Trivalent LAN Concepts was established in 1991 to assist companies with data and network issues. As the company grew, its clients increasingly demanded more sophisticated and multifaceted network consulting services. Meanwhile, the successful IT consulting firm Remex – established in 1971 – was seeking a way to improve its expertise, training, products, and customer service in order to continue fulfilling a growing list of clients' business requirements.
In 2003, the two companies merged, establishing operations in Grandville, Michigan. This combination of network services was unprecedented for a West Michigan-based company, but it was only the beginning. IT consulting firms CD&H Support Services and Entre of Mt. Pleasant also became part of the package. Since then, Trivalent Group has added two more companies to its family: IQ Consulting in 2008 and Innovative Software Strategies of Battle Creek in 2011.
