Trivalent Group Achieves Microsoft Gold MidMarket Solution Provider Competency and Silver Hosting Competency

Microsoft Partner (Gold MM SP and Silver Hosting)Trivalent Group, Inc., the leading cloud and managed services, IT support, business continuity and network services company in Michigan, announced today it has attained a Gold MidMarket Solution Provider competency and a Silver Hosting competency, demonstrating a “best-in-class” ability and commitment to meet its Microsoft customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment and distinguishing itself within the top 1 percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. A portfolio of competencies showcases that Trivalent Group is committed to focusing on in-demand, business solution areas, along with ensuring it can meet the evolving needs of customers because of market changes.

To earn a Microsoft competency, partners must successfully complete exams (resulting in Microsoft Certified Professionals) to prove their level of technology expertise and, for gold competencies, designate these certified professionals uniquely to one Microsoft competency, ensuring a certain level of staffing capacity. Partners must also submit customer references that demonstrate successful projects and pass technology and/or sales assessments. For gold competencies, partners must also implement a yearly customer satisfaction study and, for many competencies, meet a revenue commitment.

Trivalent Group has been a certified Microsoft partner since the company was founded in 2003.  In addition to the sales of Microsoft licensing of applications and operating systems for its client’s “on-premise” systems, through its Services Provider Licensing Agreement (SPLA) practice, Trivalent hosts Microsoft applications and servers in its own data centers in Grandville and Battle Creek.  Trivalent also manages its client’s Microsoft servers and applications in its dedicated cloud environments in Microsoft’s Azure and Office 365 data centers.  Trivalent has nine Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) on its staff of more than 50 engineers.

“These Microsoft competencies showcase our expertise and commitment in today’s technology market and demonstrate our deep knowledge of Microsoft and its products,” said Larry Andrus, Trivalent Group CEO.  “Our plan is to accelerate our customers’ success by serving as technology advisors for their business demands,” he added.

“By achieving a portfolio of competencies, partners demonstrate deep expertise and consistent capability on the latest Microsoft technology,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “These partners show true commitment to meeting customer technology needs today and into the future.”

Attaining the Midmarket Solution Provider competency demonstrates partner expertise in the most current infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft desktop, business-management and server technologies. Equipped with exclusive training, the latest software and support, partners are able to implement solutions to meet midmarket customers’ unique business challenges and infrastructure needs.

Attaining the Hosting competency is exclusively for partners that specialize in hosting solutions and maintain their own datacenters or act as a reseller or agency of services hosted by Microsoft, providing agreed-upon service levels and customized hosted offerings and consulting for common customer scenarios. Equipped with exclusive training, the latest software and support, partners help customers offset the cost of maintaining critical business applications with scalable hosting solutions.
